Who's Hot and Who's Not! (Week 7)

Who's Hot
Cole Beasley

I actually snagged Beasley off of waivers within the first 3 games of the season.  He has grown a real bond with Dak Prescott, and assuming Prescott remains starter, Beasley should continue to see the volume.  He is a majorly consistent player, so even if he doesn't score he will still manage 7-10 points off of yards.  PPR wise, Beasley is a MUST START WR2 every week.

Martellus Bennett

I managed to take Bennett dead last in both of my TE leagues, and in my other league I picked him up off waivers to be mixed in as a FLEX2.   I think Bennett and Gronk can be what Aaron Hernandez and Gronk used to be.  The deadly duo of them two will slash any defense apart.  I've been high on Bennett all year, and I continue my thoughts going into Week 7.

Michael Thomas

The rookie out of OSU was a bit disappointing in Weeks 1-2, but then in Week 3, he made a nice snag inside the 5 yard line for a TD, and ever since Drew Brees has had faith in Thomas in the red zone.  Like I said in my Sleepers, Busts and Breakouts section, Thomas is a legitimate red zone threat, and he seemingly is gaining Drew Brees's trust.  Thats a good combination of factors to have going for you.

Jay Ajayi

Before Arian Foster came to Miami, I actually really liked Jay Ajayi this year in fantasy.  That being said, his draft stock took a huge hit when Foster signed, but he seems to be regaining value.  I don't think that his 200+ yard rushing game was a fluke, even though I am usually skeptical.  I love seeing consistency, and I think Ajayi brings some hope to the Miami running game.  Finally, he is available in over 57% of ESPN leagues, which means he might be available in yours...

Who's Not
Eddie Lacy

I had very high hopes for my man Eddie Lacy in the beginning of this year, but as the season went on I became skeptical, so I traded him away for Emmanuel Sanders and Victor Cruz.  It's not that Eddie Lacy is playing poorly, it's that the Packers refuse to establish a legit running game.  Eddie Lacy is someone you should hold on to until he has a breakout week, and then sell high.

Todd Gurley

Like I said in my preseason Sleepers, Busts, and Breakouts section, I said Gurley was a bust.  I also said by bust I meant around top 15 RB.  I hold by this statement, but if you can try and get better value out of him and trade for a WR1/RB2 combo before it's too late.  There were too many factors against him this year to have another special year.

Panthers D/ST

This is an unorthodox one because it isn't a player, but more a group of players.  Carolina defense has been awful this year, and they have been absolutely torn apart now by the Falcons and the Saints.  To be fair these are great offenses, but I don't know how confident I would be with the Panthers D going forward.
